I grew up with filter kaapi — the everyday coffee that filled our homes with warmth.

Years later, after discovering a world of global coffee, I felt a pull back to my roots — and a curiosity to explore how rich Indian coffee truly is.

That curiosity became Origin Kaapi.

How Origin Kaapi Came to Life

I started visiting coffee estates across India — from Chikmagalur and Coorg to Wayanad and the Shevaroy Hills. I listened to growers, tasted different lots, and saw how diverse, nuanced, and under-celebrated Indian coffee really is.

I didn’t just want to recreate the kaapi I grew up with.

I wanted to showcase the full spectrum of Indian coffee — from heritage-style filter blends to beautiful Indian single origins that shine as black coffee, pour-overs, espresso, cappuccinos and lattes.

Origin Kaapi is where tradition meets modern coffee craft, with India at the heart of it.

    Filter blends for decoction. Single origins for black coffee, pour-over, espresso and milk-based drinks.

    Sourced from Indian farms, roasted in small batches for freshness, aroma and clarity.

Origin Kaapi started as my way of reconnecting with the coffee I grew up with — and grew into a journey of discovering how special Indian coffee really is. I’m excited to share that story, one cup at a time.
